OUR BUILDING
IS A VERB
with walls that lean
and sway to guide you,
not keep you out.
Ceilings offer shelter,
not limitations
to collective growth.
Doors and windows
let nature and community in,
not shut us out.
We build
infrastructures of care
and frameworks of cooperation -
not oppression, prejudice,
competition and control.
Program is political,
access is the foundation,
empathy is the groundwork.
This living structure
evades capture, finality,
and the illusion
of certitude.
The future
is fluid,
immediate,
and coalescing
each day before our eyes -
indeed, through them.
As
we
hurtle
faster
and
farther
into
the
ever-crushing
confines
of
the
future,
S P A C E
is resistance
